I created this beautiful cycle wheel as a guide for the bleeding woman. Drawing on my studies of archetypes and the Triple Goddess of Greek mythology (Persephone, Demeter & Hecate), I have crafted my own approach to the inner seasons of the lunar and feminine cycle. This bleed wheel is inspired by the story of Demeter and the creation of the seasons according to Greek mythology.
🌓 The Maiden. Persephone. Inner Spring. Waxing moon. Season of anticipation.
🌕 The Mother. Demeter. Inner Summer. Full moon. Season of fruition.
🌗 The Matriarch. Demeter—after the initiatory loss of her daughter. Inner Autumn. Waning moon. Season of infertility and death.
🌑 The Crone. Hecate. Inner Winter. Dark moon. Season of fecundity.
I am deeply passionate about cycle literacy and the ritualisation of Menarche and the menstrual cycle. For the bleeding woman, every month is a ceremony.
